From Roots-reggae to heavy-dub,
I-PLANT is an “old school dub” concept !! runned by TOONEY ROOTS since 2004, he gets his inspiration from acoustic instruments and vintage effects… back to the 80's !!!
Soundsystem or live performance, I-PLANT plays a Roots dub ... sometimes Rockers or stepper style and represents reggae's positive vibrations !
Tooney roots is Own-produced and had already recorded many vinyls with his independent label I-GROW RECORDS, featuring international singers such as GANJA TREE, KIKO, MARGA, MADU MESSENGER, TONY TUFF, JAH MARNYAH ...
I-PLANT had also recorded some melodica cuts for other labels and he is linked with CONTROL TOWER RECORDS & WEBCAM HI-FI.
