Multi-instrumentalist and fan of reggae music since childhood, Mathieu " TOONEY ROOTS " GEORGES began music by the practice of the piano at 8 years old. He learned 5 years at music academy and he gives up to be devoted to the sport ... he is back to music 3 years later. Around 16 years old, he decide to build their first band with his friends … and the “reggae vibes” will not leave him any more!!!

In 1998, Tooney plays keyboards in the band “woodblock”… and he initiated with DUB mixing.Then he went to school to become sound engineer. In 2001, Tooney leaves Paris ang go to Bordeaux. He meets PAT'ROCK(guitars) there and begin " I-PLANT " in 2004.
Then Tooney build his studio and the label I-GROW RECORDS. Rockerstyle” and vintage sounds from 80's,he devoted himself from now on to roots-reggae & dub music ...
